How To Draw a Grasshopper – Easy Step-by-Step Drawing Tutorial!

Step 1: Begin by drawing the front of the grasshopper’s head.

Step 2: Now, add more to the grasshopper head section.

Step 3: You can draw the rear leg. These are the legs that help the grasshopper jump so far!

Step 4: Draw the grasshopper body, this extends beyond the leg that you have already drawn.

Step 5: In this step, you’ll draw another line at the mid-point of the grasshopper’s body. This line will later help identify the wing area.

Step 6: Draw the underbelly and the second leg of the grasshopper.

Step 7: With thinner lines, draw all 4 of the legs.

Step 8: Add the grasshopper body details and the antennae coming out from the head.

Step 9: Finish the legs, add the eyes and mouth to complete this drawing of a grasshopper.
